My siblings and I grew up in Detroit, MI. Instead of showering us with toys and games, our parents showered us with books and encouraged us to read and learn about new things. I specifically remember my mother making me research using our collection of encyclopedias every time I asked her what something meant.  We had a whole room that was filled with books, some we liked and some we could go without. It is  because of this that my family has been so successful; its our little secret, until now.

In college , I realized that education is the key that unlocks the doors of success. With it, one can open doors, often unimaginable. Without it, one can only imagine. My personal goal is to put books in the hands of as many children and young people as I can.

Please help me as I seek to help others!

Thank you in advance for your support!
